The Government has required an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) to be produced on all homes that are newly marketed for sale from December 14th 2007.  

The EPC was also required as part of the Home Information Pack but since the cancellation of the HIPs, the requirement for the EPC still remains.  Your home can be marketed immediately as long as the EPC is ordered and the EPC has to be produced within 28 days.  

There is also a further requirement from 1st October 2008 that it is mandatory for all Landlords to make an Energy Performance Certificate available to new tenants as part of the letting process.  All EPC's will now last for ten years. 

To help take the hassle out of selling, as part of our selling service we can arrange for an EPC to be carried out on your property for you.
